Good evening Bernabi!  I have a few quick but important updates for our learning community, so thank you for reading!

First up, if you haven't heard yet; our student leaders have organized a food drive to support St. Peter's Church in Rochester!  On Wednesday, our school is accepting donations of macaroni and cheese or pasta, and to recognize your donations and the sprit of giving, our students can bring a stuffed friend to school with them!  On Thursday the school is collecting canned fruit and vegetable donations in exchange for an always popular hat day!  Finally, Friday's targeted donations are cereal or peanut butter and students should wear pajamas and/or slippers to school!  Thank you for always showing your generosity, your unity and your support of our entire community!  #OneBernabi

For parents of third through fifth graders, I am hoping that by now you have already heard through a Connect Ed phone call message, via Bernabi's Instagram account or through dinner conversation with your child that students across our county and state experienced technical difficulties with the Questar system today during state testing.  As a result, we decided to hold off on day two of the ELA assessment, which has now been rescheduled for Monday, April 8.  Students had an extremely smooth first day this past Monday and I look forward to another successful CBT experience next week.

That is all I have for tonight--thank you for reading!
