Happy Labor Day everyone!  I hope that this note finds you relaxing at home with your family for one final summer holiday, because come Wednesday, school is back in session!  I want everyone to know how excited all of Bernabi is to have your kiddos back at school, and how hard everyone has been working to prepare for their arrival.  If you are tuned into one or more Instagram accounts, by now you’ve seen countless pictures of classrooms, bulletin boards, door art and more, and while all of these pieces take countless hours to prepare, they pale in comparison to the amount of time my teachers have put into preparing the best learning experiences you will find in any school!  I am so proud of the faculty and staff at Bernabi and continue to reflect on what an honor it is for me to serve as principal to such a talented and hardworking building, the greatest students ever gathered, and to you, the warmest and most supportive community I could ever dream for.  #OneBernabi

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, September 4 is our annual meet and greet, starting at 2:00 pm across the school.  If you arrive early, I may corral everyone in the cafeteria as teachers have a full day of meetings tomorrow leading up to this event.  I want to make sure they have enough time to get everything in order so that you can have a great experience meeting your teacher, your classmates and finding your desk and locker to put away your school supplies.

Thank you in advance for all of your ongoing and continued support of what we do here at Bernabi!  I apologize in advance for any first day or first week snafus as there are typically a few things we learn throughout opening week, but nothing that will stop us all from an incredible kick off to the school year!

See you all very soon!
