Update from Bernabi

Greetings from Bernabi where December may be winding down, but everyone is revving up with holiday excitement!  Since I wrote just last week, I only have a few quick updates below…

For those of you with children in our band, chorus and/or show choir, you know firsthand just how incredible last night’s winter concert was!  Thank you one and all for coming out to support our students, our programs and one another!  Parents of kindergarteners, I can feel your excitement for tomorrow’s performance as well, and while we will begin at 2:15, we will open our doors for seating at 2:00.  While you will not need to sign in for this performance, you will need to sign your child out of the building after the performance if you wish to take him/her home with you as you leave.  Thank you for your support with this!

While you’re in the building, please consider grabbing an ornament off of our giving tree, located across from our greeter’s desk in the main entrance.  This year, our support is targeted toward The Willie Bee Foundation, which was founded in memory of Spencerport native William Beeman and supports families in our community who have a child facing a life threatening illness.  Here's how it works: stop by Bernabi, grab an ornament from the tree, purchase the gift card noted on the ornament in any amount of your choice, bring the gift card back to Bernabi by December 21, then feel great about supporting our community!

I like ending my updates with videos, so this week I want to introduce you to something called EverFi.  My hope is that it provides a little insight into how we are using instructional technology within the school to support and enhance student learning!  Click here and enjoy!

Sincerely,

David Caiazza
