Update from Bernabi

January 1, 2019

Happy New Year Bernabi!  I hope that everyone has had a restful break and is feeling as excited about the new year as I am!  That said, I would be remiss if I didn’t take a moment to thank each of you for the support you showed us in 2018.  While only a snapshot, December provided a spotlight for the incredible level of involvement and dedication we all see from our community that looked like volunteering for the holiday shop, attending concerts and assemblies, generosity with our giving tree, supporting classroom celebrations and so much more!  From the entire faculty and staff: thank you to our community for your unwavering support—we love having you in our school!  #OneCommunity  #OneBernabi

As we look ahead to 2019 and even next school year, please know that it is almost time to register incoming kindergarteners for 2019-2020!  If you have a child, or know of anyone in the Bernabi boundary who has a child born between December 2nd, 2013 and December 1st, 2014, please let us know by filling out and returning the purple forms we sent home last month.  No form?  No problem!  Give us a call at 349-5401 so that we can plan accordingly for our continuously growing population at Bernabi!

A few dates to know for the coming month:
- Wednesday, January 2                    School resumes (YAY!)
- Friday, January 18                            K-8 Half-day—buses depart at noon
- Monday, January 21                        Martin Luther King Jr. Day—no school

As I sat down to write this update, I realized that my students have already done the work for me, and it’s so much better than an e-news update!  Please click here for the latest Bernabi Broadcast and enjoy!

Sincerely,

David Caiazza
