Motorist near primary playground today

Good afternoon,
I wanted to let you know that at approximately 1:30 p.m. today, Bernabi faculty observed a motorist driving a car up the sidewalk from the Barrett and Coolidge neighborhood. The driver continued on the pathway leading up to the primary playground area when our faculty reacted quickly and moved all students to safety. The car turned left on the pathway prior to reaching the playground.
All students and staff are safe. We immediately contacted security and the Ogden Police Department who are currently investigating this incident. At approximately 2:10 p.m., OPD cleared the area, and students resumed normal activities on the playground.
I continue to be impressed with faculty, staff and students' ability to remain calm and focus on safety. Thank you.
