Greetings from Bernabi where February break is upon us!  Just a few quick notes as we head into the week off…

First up: Bernabi Reads week is almost here!  While more information will be coming home soon, I wanted to give everyone a sneak peek at our Dr. Seuss theme days!

- Monday: Stripes and hat day
- Tuesday: Crazy Socks
- Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday, mismatched outfits, wacky hair
- Thursday: Color Day: wear any color from head to toe
- Friday: PJ/Stuffed Friend Day

We are still looking for readers to come in, so if you’re interested please contact our PTO representatives at: [email protected]

Speaking of our PTO, I would like to offer a long overdue shout-out to our Bernabi Parents Association who contribute to and support so much of what we are doing each day.
I also wanted to share what our current collaboration looks like, or what it will look like very soon!  Recently, we looked back on all of the memories we’ve created and posted to Instagram in an effort to add some warmth to our conference room.  Now, when parents come in for meetings, they will be surrounded by the love, fun and smiles of Bernabi Elementary instead of white walls!  I will send pictures (of the pictures) once we have them up, but I can tell you now that in supporting this process, I could not be happier with the memories we selected to preserve on our walls!

Last but not least, don’t forget that the Sweetheart Dance has been rescheduled for Friday evening, February 28.  Fliers came home earlier this week and my daughter Michela and I hope to see our Bernabi girls there!

Enjoy break!
